Coordinates warehouse activities with all other functions of the organization and suppliers to obtain optimum production and utilization of human resources, machines, and equipment.Principal Accountabilities/Essential FunctionsDevelop production, inventory control, staffing, safety, and quality goals with supervisors and holds them accountableEnsure standards of productivity, inventory control, safety and accuracy are metProvide guidance to the development of personnel requirements, material needs, tooling and equipment needsEnsure all established costs, quality and delivery commitments are metReviews production and operating reports and directs the resolution of operational and maintenance problems.Determines responsibilities of assigned organization and staff positions to accomplish business objectivesMaintains vendor relationships.Compile, store and retrieve production data for reportsEnsures that tools and equipment are kept in the designated areas and securedOther duties as assigned.Job Requirements:Education and/or Experience:Bachelor of Science from a four-year accredited college or universityOne to two years related experience and/or training or Equivalent combination of education and experienceKnowledge of:Warehouse processesPeople Management techniquesBusiness and management principlesSkill In:Train assigned employees on company government and customer policies, procedures and regulationsEnsure all assigned employees comply with company government and customer policies, procedures, and regulationsActive listeningAbility To:Facilitate and lead client communication as requiredSpeak confident, clear, and professionalDevelop professional and accurate written communicationAnalyze information and using logic to address work-related issues and problemsWork Environment:Office / Warehouse Mix: This job operates in a warehouse environment. This role will require the ability to, on occasion, go in and out of trailers, navigate around roller racks, and other logistical equipment within a warehouse setting. The position will also require travel of both in air and driving.While performing duties of this job, the employee's work environment may vary from professional office to fulfillment center floor, and other vendor/client locations.Physical Demands:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
