What You'll Do:

• Provide respiratory care in NICU, PICU, Peds, and emergency departments
• Manage ventilators and NIV therapies, including BiPAP and CPAP
• Perform procedures such as ABGs, medication administration, suctioning, and airway management
• Support critical care teams in emergency and ICU settings
• Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team in a community hospital environment

What You Need:

• RRT certification and North Carolina license in hand
• At least 2 years of pediatric and neonatal respiratory therapy experience, including NICU and Peds ED preferred
• Certifications in BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS required
• Ability to work night shifts, handle call responsibilities, and float across departments as needed
• Strong clinical skills in airway management, medication administration, and pulmonary therapies

About the Assignment:

This community hospital respiratory department in Charlotte requires experienced RTs to support multiple units, including emergency care, ICU, and surgical floors. The role involves managing ventilators, performing diagnostic tests such as ABGs, and providing essential therapies in a fast-paced hospital setting. Comprehensive orientation provided over 24 hours to ensure a smooth transition.
