Operating Room Charge Rn

Schedule: Weekend-focused schedule: 3x12 (Fri/Sat/Sun) with occasional late-day Friday. No call.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year RN experience
• Charge experience preferred
• Valid RN license in the state
• BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications required

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the operating room.
• Ensure effective patient care delivery in the perioperative setting.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to maximize operational efficiency.
• Monitor patient safety and compliance with protocols.
• Assist in training and mentoring nursing staff as needed.
• Manage staffing and scheduling in the operating room.

Compliance / Notes:

• Requested time off (RTO) must be listed at the time of submittal.
• Orientation: 36 hours; modules are non-billable.
• Expected to float to like units within scope; brief orientation provided.
