Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a Home Health position in the East Portland, OR area, requiring at least 1 year of skilled home health experience and Epic EMR proficiency.

Details

• Home health setting serving East Portland, OR and surrounding areas
• 1:1 patient ratio with visits to up to 6 patients per day; 30 productivity points is standard
• 8-hour day shifts, Monday–Friday (4x10 and 3x12 schedules cannot be accommodated)
• No weekend or on-call requirements
• Travelers are expected to float between all facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in termination of the assignment
• Charting is done via Epic Remote Client for Home Health (laptop) and Rover phone app/OASIS
• Candidates within a 50–75 mile radius of the facility are considered local and may be accepted at the same rate

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of skilled home health experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• Epic EMR experience required
• OASIS experience required
• Valid PT license required if applicable
• Must have reliable personal transportation
• Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
• Full SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• Business casual attire required; scrubs are allowed but not required and no specific color is mandated; jeans are not permitted
• The scheduling system groups clients to minimize drive time; occasional maximum daily radius of roughly 60 miles (60–90 minutes total drive time)
• Mileage is reimbursed at the IRS standard rate
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and cannot be within 50 miles of the submitting facility
• Minimal RTO is preferred for this position; a small number of days may be approved
