OBJECTIVE

The Electronic Technician III will be programming and troubleshooting of control systems that include PLCs, servo drives, AC drives, interface modules, DC Drives, and HMIs. Also included are mechanical skills that will allow for assistance in mechanical repairs and preventative and predictive maintenance tasks.

SCOPE OF POSITION

The successful candidate will have the ability to read, redline, and create electrical drawings. Demonstrate the ability to lead projects and/or work groups. Demonstrate the ability to make sound decisions and use problem-solving tools. Must be able to multi-task. Previous Lean Mfg. experience preferred. Must be able to coordinate projects and communicate results. Candidate must possess good interpersonal skills and the ability to work within a team-oriented environment. Must be a self-starter work with minimal supervision. Identifies and implements continuous improvement projects following the change management procedures as well as supporting projects for the electronics group.

QUALIFICATIONS/TRAINING

CMMS (MP2 preferred), PLCs (GE & Allen Bradley), Servo Controls, Drives, HMIs. Education: Associate's degree in maintenance related field or 10 years maintenance experience with a High School diploma or GED. Experience: Minimum of 5 years' experience working with control systems and electrical troubleshooting. Preferred Skills: Mechanical background.

Hours: 2nd Shift with Rotating Weekends (Monday-Friday: 2pm-10:30pm) & 12pm-12am on scheduled weekends
