Additional responsibilities include inspection, engineering support, troubleshooting and quality control.Role & ResponsibilitiesUse tools to make or repair parts and productsInterpret technical documents, such as diagrams, schematics, blueprints, or other verbal or written instructionsWork with other members of the line or group in order to assemble productsKeep a clean and tidy workspaceMeet all safety requirements of the company and industryIdentify any defective items and handle them according to established proceduresUsing reason to solve problems as they ariseUnderstand the details of assembly drawings and bills of materialsUse assembly tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches/torque wrenches, etc.Follow order sheets and assembly data sheetsOther duties as assignedQualificationsEducation Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalentExperience Requirements: 2-5 years of assembly or manufacturing experienceTravel Requirements: No Travel RequiredMust be able to read and follow written or verbal instructionsMust be able to follow established methods and procedures and perform work accordinglyMust have the ability to work rapidly and under time pressure for extended periods of time in order to meet build requirementsMust possess basic machining knowledge and ability to read build sheets and blueprintsJob specific skills, techniques and safe work and equipment operating practices are learned through on the job trainingGeneral Instructions are given on recurring duties, operations or assignments, detailed instructions are given on new duties, operations or assignments.OtherWorking Conditions:Work is performed in a shop and warehouse environment. Conditions include proximity to moving mechanical parts, exposure to noise levels requiring the use of hearing protection, exposure to vibration through the use of tools and equipment. Required to wear personal protective equipment.Physical Demands:• Standing for long hours; mechanical ability; manual dexterity to use hand tools.• Ability to move around the facility, climbing stairs as necessary, frequent bending down, reaching up, and sitting or kneeling to work to install parts• Ability to handle and lift objects weighing 10-50 lbs. alone; ability to lift objects weighing 50+ lbs. in a two person liftSalary Range: $15-17 per hourBenefits: Medical, dental, vision insurance, 401K with company match, life insurance, short term disability, long term disability, paid time off, paid holidays, and bonus potential.
