Responsibilities
- Perform pre-procedure assessment and post-procedure recovery for endoscopy patients, including sedation/monitoring support as applicable.
- Assist the endoscopy team during procedures (e.g., GI endoscopy), ensuring sterile technique, proper instrument handling, and patient safety.
- Monitor vitals and patient status during procedures, respond to adverse events, and collaborate with anesthesia/sedation staff as appropriate.
- Document all care activities, procedure notes, and post-procedure instructions in accordance with policy; communicate care plans to the patient, family, and interdisciplinary team.
- Maintain a clean, safe environment in the endoscopy suite, manage equipment readiness, and support turnover between cases.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Michigan
- BLS (AHA) certification
- Minimum 2 years of RN Endoscopy experience
- Demonstrated ability to work in a hospital setting on a travel assignment
- Strong patient assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
