About the Position

Our client is seeking a dependable CDL A Driver for a local, on-site driving opportunity in Omaha, Nebraska. This role involves operating a 26-foot box truck on local routes while handling light-touch freight. The position offers a consistent first-shift schedule and temp-to-perm employment.

Pay & Schedule

Pay: $28.50 per hour
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Hours: 40 hours per week
Employment type: Temp-to-perm
Work setting: On-site

Job Details

Route type: Local
Freight: Light-touch freight
Equipment: 26-foot box truck
Handling: Mostly on-site; occasional trips for fueling or drop-offs at a warehouse approximately 5 miles away

Key Responsibilities

Operate a 26-foot box truck safely on local routes in the Omaha area.
Handle light-touch freight in a professional and efficient manner.
Complete occasional fuel runs and warehouse drop-offs as needed.
Follow all applicable safety procedures and transportation regulations.

Minimum Requirements

Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
Valid Department of Transportation medical card.
Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
Must be at least 21 years old.
