Position Overview

C3 Roofing & Construction is seeking experienced Roofing Sales Representatives to develop business opportunities, perform roof inspections, educate homeowners, and manage projects through the entire sales process.

This is not a lead-only position.

Successful candidates will be expected to generate their own opportunities through door-to-door prospecting, referrals, networking, and community engagement while managing customer relationships and projects from start to finish.

We are specifically looking for professionals who want to build a long-term career in roofing sales—not storm chasers looking for temporary opportunities.

What You'll Do

Lead Generation & Prospecting

• Generate self-sourced leads through door-to-door canvassing and neighborhood prospecting.

• Build relationships with homeowners and property owners.

• Develop referral sources and networking opportunities.

• Consistently create and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.

Roof Inspections & Property Assessments

• Conduct residential and commercial roof inspections.

• Identify roofing, storm damage, and restoration opportunities.

• Safely climb roofs and utilize ladders during inspections.

• Document project conditions and customer needs.

Full Sales Cycle Management

• Meet with homeowners and property owners.

• Educate customers on roofing systems and project options.

• Present estimates and project recommendations.

• Manage the sales process from initial contact through signed agreement.

• Negotiate and professionally close projects.

Customer Experience & Project Management

• Serve as the primary point of contact throughout the project.

• Maintain consistent communication with customers.

• Coordinate with production and operations teams.

• Deliver an exceptional customer experience that generates referrals and repeat business.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of one full roofing sales season experience required.

• Proven ability to self-generate leads.

• Willingness to perform door-to-door prospecting and canvassing.

• Ability to safely climb roofs and work from ladders.

• Valid driver's license.

• Reliable truck or vehicle suitable for field operations.

• Willingness to travel throughout the North and Northwest Chicago territories.
