About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Health Information Officer (CHIO) and Head of Care Platforms to serve as the senior executive leader responsible for the strategic alignment of clinical strategy, digital transformation, and technology capabilities to enhance patient care, clinician experience, and health outcomes. The successful candidate will be the primary bridge between clinical operations and information technology, ensuring that care delivery platforms enable safe, efficient, and innovative care. This role involves providing executive leadership for enterprise clinical informatics strategy, leading the development of clinical technology roadmaps, and fostering partnerships with clinical and operational leaders to optimize workflows and drive the adoption of emerging technologies. Candidates for the CHIO and Head of Care Platforms position at the company must have a Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine, a Master's degree in a related field, and a minimum of 15 years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare technology, clinical informatics, healthcare operations, or digital transformation. The role requires a strong background in clinical informatics leadership, care platform strategy and operations, clinical transformation and innovation, governance, stakeholder engagement, data, quality, and outcomes, as well as regulatory, compliance, and safety. The ideal candidate will also have certifications such as Certified Professional in Healthcare Information and Management Systems (CPHIMS) and Six Sigma Certified. Key skills include the ability to lead multidisciplinary governance structures, build consensus among diverse stakeholders, and ensure that care platforms support regulatory compliance and accreditation requirements.
