Job Responsibilities

• Craft Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients' individual needs and devise custom therapy strategies to help them achieve their functional aspirations
• Implement Therapeutic Approaches: Leverage best practices to improve patients' motor skills, cognition, and overall activities of daily living
• Engage with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work in partnership with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver well-rounded, all-encompassing care
• Guide Patients and Families: Provide education on therapy strategies to enable continued progress at home
• Monitor and Document Progress: Keep detailed records of clinical outcomes and adapt therapy as necessary, ensuring patients remain on track

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational institution
• Ongoing education or additional certifications are encouraged and supported

Licenses

• Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory
