Lead Securities Operations Specialist - Hybrid

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Lead Securities Operations Specialist - Hybrid for a 6+ month contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC.

This role involves consulting on moderately complex initiatives within Business Execution, contributing to large-scale planning, and assisting with the redesign of Service Fulfillment functions. The ideal candidate will work to improve efficiency and reduce risk by eliminating manual processing, simplifying controls, and improving end-to-end workflow efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Lead complex lifecycle initiatives and support tasks, including those that are cross-functional with broad impact, and act as a key participant in large-scale planning and deliverables
• Identify opportunities for process improvements within Securities Operations
• Review and analyze complex multi-faceted, larger scale or longer-term operational tasks or challenges
• Make decisions in complex situations related to a full process within a trade environment while leveraging a solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
• Strategically collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and mid-level to senior managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
• Manage and develop expertise in operational processes including client account onboarding, cash payments, customer service, funding operations, custodial operations, securities settlement services, structured loan operations, and general ledger reconciliation
• Resolve complex escalated issues within the scope of responsibility in Security Operations
• Lead implementation of projects, new or revised processes, and procedures that require coordination among operation teams

Requirements:

• 4+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education
• 5+ years of Securities Operations experience
• Prior experience in financial services

Pay range: $43.13 - $51.13 per hour
