General Medicine Provider Opportunities

Veterans Evaluation Services (VES), a Maximus company, is seeking General Medicine Providers to perform Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments across the country.

Current openings:

• VES Facility locations - Must be within 50 miles:
• Elko, NV - 1 day per week needed

Provider's own office locations - Provider must have their own office:

1. Pahrump, NV - 1/2 a day per week needed
2. Gardnerville/Minden, NV - 1 day per week needed

Please read attached practice description to understand the role fully.

Need is on a PRN basis, ongoing:

• Option to work ½ days (4-hours) and/or full days (8-hours)
• One-time non-treatment C&P exams + separation health assessments
• Exams are primarily interview-based with some physical assessment: range of motion testing, muscle strength testing
• No prescribing, no treatment
• Quick credentialing & onboarding

Willing to accept these specialties:

• family medicine
• internal medicine
• orthopedic surgery
• anyone with a background in general medicine, or experience with compensation and pension

Rate structure for presentations:

**Hourly, overtime, holiday rates are not applicable with VES. All Gen Med providers must follow the rate structure below:

• Half-day rate - $600 flat rate for 4 hour shifts or less (includes times to complete exams, submit report, including any addendums, no OT)
• Daily rate - $1200 flat rate for 5 hour shifts or longer (includes times to complete exams, submit report, including any addendums, no OT)
• Bonus - one time bonus of $650 for completing all required training and performing first exams
• Local candidates only, travel included in rates
• Please note: Follow up administrative work will be required on a regular basis (addendums, medical opinions, and reading diagnostics). This will not be paid outside of the ½ day or full day rate.

Client does not reimburse for DMA certifications or the portal training before starting.
