Work Environment
This full-time, remote position enables you to work from the comfort of your own space while engaging with clients through virtual platforms. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct virtual, comprehensive psychosocial assessments to evaluate clients' strengths and needs, enabling personalized care.
- Provide evidence-based therapy and counseling services to individuals, families, and groups, utilizing techniques tailored to various mental health conditions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare providers to coordinate integrated treatment plans, ensuring clients receive comprehensive support.
- Advocate for clients' rights, facilitating access to vital community resources and supplementary support services as needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions, treatment progress, and outcomes in electronic health records (EHR) to ensure continuity of care.
- Participate in regular team meetings and case conferences, enhancing your clinical knowledge and skills through ongoing education and peer consultation.
Patient Population / Client Focus
Your work will primarily focus on individuals dealing with a variety of mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and more. The diverse client base at our community health clinic includes children, adolescents, and adults from different socio-economic backgrounds, requiring you to adapt your approach and techniques to effectively meet each client’s specific needs.
Qualifications
- A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
- Current licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in the state of Washington.
- A minimum of two (2) years of post-licensure experience providing clinical social work services.
- Proficiency in conducting diagnostic assessments and developing tailored treatment plans for clients.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills with the capacity to build rapport with diverse populations.
- A commitment to cultural competence, social justice, and ethical practice in all areas of work.
Preferred Experience
- Experience with evidence-based practices, such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
- Background working in community health settings or with multidisciplinary teams.
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems and telehealth platforms.
Compensation and Benefits
The position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and caseload.
