Senior Staff Accountant

Our client, a growing manufacturing organization, is seeking a Senior Staff Accountant to join its dynamic finance team in Raleigh, NC. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with leadership, support financial reporting, improve processes, and contribute to the overall financial health of the business.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements
- Assist with month-end and year-end close activities
- Perform account reconciliations and ensure accuracy of the general ledger
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Assist with inventory accounting and cost accounting activities
- Partner with operations and plant leadership on financial reporting
- Support audits, internal controls, and compliance requirements
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and efficiencies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 4+ years of accounting experience
- Manufacturing experience strongly preferred
- Understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
- Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
