Physical Therapist – Rural Health Clinic | Chowchilla, CAWe are partnering with a new and growing Rural Health Clinic (RHC) in Chowchilla, CA to find an experienced, licensed Physical Therapist (PT) to join their collaborative outpatient team. This is a part-time opportunity — ideal for a clinician who wants to be part of something meaningful from the ground floor, helping expand access to care in an underserved rural community.Position DetailsSetting: Outpatient Rural Health ClinicPatient Population: All ages — generalist (pediatric through geriatric)Schedule: Part-Time | 1-3 days per weekLocation: Chowchilla, CAPay Rate: $55.00 – $65.00 per hourStart Date: ASAP — clinic is newly openingAbout the RoleThe Physical Therapist will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with physical injuries, disabilities, or movement disorders. You will develop personalized treatment plans to help patients improve mobility, relieve pain, restore function, and prevent disability through therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and patient education.This is a unique ground-floor opportunity — the clinic is newly built and ready to open, and the right candidate will have input into equipment selection, layout decisions, and the overall setup of the PT department. There are no competing PT clinics in the immediate area, giving this role enormous community impact potential.Key ResponsibilitiesEvaluate patients' physical conditions, mobility limitations, and functional abilitiesDevelop individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessments and patient goalsProvide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other rehabilitation techniquesMonitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessaryEducate patients and families on exercises, injury prevention, and home care programsDocument patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes per healthcare regulationsCollaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals on the care teamMaintain compliance with healthcare laws, safety standards, and clinical protocolsAssist in acquiring and setting up related medical and rehabilitation equipmentHelp establish appropriate billing codes for PT servicesUse rehabilitation equipment and technology to support patient recoveryRequirementsMinimum 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist — requiredGraduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT) — requiredCurrent California PT license in good standing — requiredExperience working in newly started or startup outpatient clinics — highly preferredStrong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to work effectively both independently and as part of a teamCompassionate, patient-focused approach to careAbility and willingness to work in Chowchilla, CAWhy Apply Through Us?This role is being placed exclusively through Welltech Partners.
