Security Officer – Overnight Shift

SMI Account – Bal Harbour, FL

SMI is currently seeking a professional and reliable Security Officer for a luxury high-rise condominium account located in Bal Harbour, Florida.

This is an overnight position for candidates who are dependable, detail-oriented, and experienced working in high-end residential environments.

Position Details:

• Schedule: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM.
• Days Off: Friday & Saturday.
• Pay Rate: $18.50 per hour.

Job Responsibilities:

• Facilitate and monitor resident, guest, and vendor parking.
• Ensure vehicles are parked in the correct designated areas and spaces.
• Maintain order and professionalism throughout the property.
• Observe and report all incidents, violations, and issues to property management and the client in a timely manner.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents, guests, and vendors.
• Conduct routine patrols of parking and common areas.
• Maintain accurate logs and incident reports.
• Monitor access points and assist with overnight property security operations.

Requirements:

• Previous security experience required.
• Experience working in a high-rise condominium environment preferred.
• Must be computer savvy and comfortable using basic reporting systems and email communication.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Strong observation and communication skills.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Must be focused, dependable, and able to work independently overnight.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Valid Florida Driver’s License required.
• Valid Security License preferred.
