Who You Are As Warehouse Manager, you will manage the staff and overall operations of the warehouse, including ordering, receiving, processing, recording, and distributing supplies, tools, and materials. This Position Brief staff on material to be loaded/delivered and assists as‑needed. Verify tools and materials are correct for job delivery before trucks are dispatched. Partner with field staff to schedule deliveries. Coordinate and monitor delivery schedules for truck drivers to ensure timeliness. Oversee subcontracted trucking services, and assign/maintain shop vehicles. Receive and log daily incoming freight for branch construction projects, service, and warehouse. Systematically track all tools delivered to/returned from job sites. Review delivery documents to ensure accuracy and completeness of orders. Facilitate the maintenance/repair of tools, so that tool kits remain complete and in good working order. Establish laydown areas and ensure job‑specific materials are stored appropriately. Monitor and replenish stock on an as‑needed basis. Conduct periodic inventories of tools and consumables, and escalated needs for approval. Maintain MSDS files for shop‑specific and field inventoried items. Maintain safety PPE. Arrange for weight capacity certification tests of certain equipment/tools according to OSHA standards. Coordinate the disposal of environmental waste in accordance with EPA procedures. Serve as a substitute truck driver when scheduling needs arise. What You Need 3‑5 years of applicable warehouse/inventory experience. Demonstrated knowledge of tools and materials utilized in the HVAC and plumbing industry. Proficiency with tool/asset/consumable tracking software and Microsoft Office. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Must have a valid driver’s license and pass an MVR review. Ability to prioritize and multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment. Must have a driving record compliant with the Company’s policies and MVR requirements, and consent to ongoing driving record monitoring by the Company. Preferred Qualifications Forklift training is a plus. Conduct Standards Maintain appropriate Company confidentiality at all times.
