Job Title

Registered Nurse – Cardiac Cath Lab (Contract / Travel)

Location

Austin, Texas

Schedule / Job Type

Contract (13 Weeks) | Full-Time | Onsite | Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM | On-call required 3:00 PM – 6:30 AM weekdays and 48 hours on weekends

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting utilizing cardiovascular invasive equipment
• Assist with and support cardiac catheterizations, percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), and peripheral procedures
• Participate in pacemaker and defibrillator implant procedures
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
• Fulfill on-call obligations as scheduled, including weekday and weekend coverage
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including RNs and cardiovascular technicians

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current ACLS certification (required — candidates without will not be considered)
• Current BLS certification (required — candidates without will not be considered)
• Minimum 1 year of Cardiac Cath Lab experience
• Ability to fulfill on-call requirements as outlined in the schedule

Preferred Experience / Skills

• RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certification
• Prior travel nursing experience in a Cath Lab or cardiovascular setting
• Experience with Meditech EMR
