Contract Attorney

Regional law firm is seeking a Contract Attorney with at least two years of civil litigation experience to support its team in San Jose on a contract basis, up to 40 hours per week depending on your availability. This role will focus on various civil litigation matters and assist with cases throughout the full litigation lifecycle, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, depositions, and trial preparation. This Contract Attorney can work remotely or on-site, depending on your preferences. Key ResponsibilitiesSupport matters through all phases of civil litigationDraft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery, and other litigation documentsAssist with case strategy, legal research, and analysisSupport depositions, mediations, hearings, and trial preparationReview documents and help manage discovery processesCommunicate with clients, carriers, opposing counsel, experts, and court personnelHandle multiple assignments and deadlines in a fast-paced litigation environmentProvide flexible litigation support to attorneys based on case needs
