Job Title

Travel RN – ICU Float (Days)

Contract | Travel | Full-Time | Days | 26-Week Assignment | 48 Guaranteed Hours per Week | 75% Weekend Requirement

Key Responsibilities

• Float to multiple ICU units including Neuro ICU, Surgical/Trauma ICU, Cardiac ICU, and CTICU based on experience and unit need
• Provide direct patient care for standard ICU patients including sedated, intubated, and patients requiring vasopressors
• Float to Intermediate Care (IMC) units as needed, maintaining patient ratios of 1:3
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:2 in ICU settings and 1:3 in IMC settings
• Adapt to multiple unit assignments within a single shift as required by float pool demands
• Document and manage patient care using EPIC EMR

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 3 years of ICU experience
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR
• Ability to care for sedated, intubated, and vasoactive medication-dependent patients across multiple ICU environments
• Flexibility to float across multiple units and accept varied assignments within the same shift

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience across multiple ICU specialties (Neuro, Surgical/Trauma, Cardiac, or CTICU)
• Strong team communication skills and demonstrated commitment to patient safety and quality care
• Self-motivated with the ability to adapt quickly to new environments and patient populations
