Join Our Team!Warehouse employees are important members of the ABC team, who make sure that product is ready for shipment to our 125+ stores. Team members work in a physically demanding environment where meeting productivity standards and safety standards are required. The Inventory Cycle Counter is responsible for monitoring and controlling inventory, including counting inventory, and reporting discrepancies for resolution.The schedule is Monday - Thursday 7AM - 5PM. Hours may vary due to the needs of the business.ResponsibilitiesPerform daily cycle countsMonitor and control inventory integrityMaintain product identification, location, and lot code accuracyResearch inventory discrepanciesWork with Inventory Control CoordinatorOpen cartons, bundles, and other containers to count items to determine quantity on handReport discrepancies of over/under amounts and any damaged productsDetermine reason for discrepancy; follow-up with proper manager to correct issueOccasionally operate cherry picker or other machinery to reach items on high shelves for countingPerform physical inventories, random or receipt audits, and reconciliationsOperate a cherry picker to reach some of the warehouse inventoryWarehouse Responsibilities – All EmployeesFollow all ABC safety protocolsPromptly report and clean up spills, breakage, or other issuesLift 35-50-pound cases, sometimes a hundred times a dayStand on feet for 10+ hours a dayMaintain minimum productivity standards per departmentAssemble boxes for spilt case lineClean, sanitize, and keep warehouse tidyPrepare work area for next day, including charging equipment and organizing areaOther duties as assignedJob RequirementsMinimum Experience, Skills, and Education1-2 years of inventory counting, or inventory management experience requiredSolid computer skills, including Warehouse Management Systems, Microsoft Excel, Word, & OutlookMathematical skills to count, add, subtract, and multiply as needed in positionExcellent communication skillsAbility to work independentlyLogical reasoning ability to sort out issuesDetail orientedExperience using WMS (Manhattan) scannerExperience and/or certification in cherry picker operation19 years of age or olderMust pass both drug and background checks prior to starting workMust speak and understand job-level EnglishHave a positive teamwork attitude; is reliable and trust-worthyPhysical RequirementsWith or Without AccommodationsMust be able to remain standing for long periods of time, upwards of 10 hours at a time, and move throughout the warehouseMust be able to lift up to 50 pounds of productMust be able to reach with hands and arms for product and use hands to work with and feel productAble to frequently climb and descend ladders or lift platforms that may be greater than 6 feet.Able to move body to access products that are out of reach above or below body levelSense of smell occasionally needed to find damages that may not be visibleClose vision (at 20 inches or less), distance vision (at 20 feet or more), peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus are needed.Work EnvironmentFrequent humid conditions: the warehouse is not temperature controlled.
