Key Qualifications:

• Valid Educational Diagnostician certification
• Experience conducting comprehensive evaluations for students in a school setting
• Strong knowledge of federal and state regulations related to special education
• Ability to interpret data and develop recommendations to support student success
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with educators and families
• Detail-oriented with superior organizational abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct academic and functional assessments for students as referred
• Analyze and interpret assessment findings to aid in eligibility determinations
• Work in concert with IEP teams, teachers, and families
• Provide clear, concise written reports and present findings at team meetings
• Travel to multiple school sites within the county as needed to meet students’ needs
• Maintain thorough and accurate evaluation records and files

Role Details:

• Contracted position serving school sites across the county, with a home base assignment
• 7-hour workdays, typically scheduled between 7:45am and 3:15pm
• Caseloads may vary based on student and district needs
