MillwrightTradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Journeyman Millwrights for projects located in the Brownsville, OR area. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $37-45/hour based on experience and skill level. If you are a Millwright and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity, and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career!Job Scope:Install, assemble, dismantle, relocate, and repair industrial machinery and equipmentPerform precision equipment alignments using laser alignment and other measuring toolsRead and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and equipment specificationsTroubleshoot and repair industrial mechanical systemsReplace bearings, shafts, gearboxes, motors, pumps, conveyors, and other rotating equipmentPerform preventive maintenance and mechanical repairsRig, lift, and position heavy equipment using chain falls, hoists, forklifts, and other rigging equipmentMaintain precise measurements, tolerances, and alignments during installationsFollow OSHA standards and all jobsite safety proceduresRequirements:Journeyman-level Millwright experienceStrong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skillsExperience with the following is highly desired:Precision shaft alignment (laser alignment preferred)Pump, gearbox, motor, and conveyor installation and repairBearing installation and replacementRigging and machinery movingReading mechanical prints and equipment layoutsWelding and fabrication experienceHydraulic and pneumatic systemsPreventive and predictive maintenancePrecision measuring tools including dial indicators, micrometers, calipers, and torque equipmentForklift, aerial lift, or crane operationIndustrial jobsite safety and OSHA standardsBe safe from fraud!
