Travel assignment, 16 weeks, 12hr nights, 36 hours a week, starting November 30, 2026.

Pay as Cross Country posts it: about $1,871 a week in all, a taxable rate of $20 an hour plus $1,151.01 a week in housing and meal stipends.

Job Summary

Registered Nurse, Medical-Surgical Floor. This travel position supports medical-surgical patient care with a focus on neurological needs, including cerebrovascular accidents, traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, and pre- and post-neurosurgical care. The role requires night-shift availability, weekend coverage, and the ability to float between units as needed.

Job Details

• Assignment Dates: 11/30/2026–03/22/2027
• Schedule: Night shifts; 12-hour shifts; minimum 36 hours per week. Weekend coverage is required based on operational needs.
• Required Qualifications: At least 1 year of experience; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; travel nursing experience; compact license in hand at submission; experience with cerebrovascular accident care, isolation precautions and personal protective equipment, medical-surgical nursing, nasal cannula, non-invasive airway management, oxygen administration, oxygen tanks, peripheral line care and management, pre- and post-neurosurgical care, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, and rapid response or code teams.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: Expected patient ratio is 1:6. The position supports medical-surgical nursing with a neurological focus and may require working 3 of 5 designated holidays.
