Warehouse operations technician

Are you an experienced warehouse professional with analytical skills and technical aptitude? Randstad is looking for an Operations Technician II to support our collaborative operations team in Lathrop, CA.

Reporting directly to the Operations Supervisor, you will be a key player in balancing and executing inbound and outbound warehouse processes through our Warehouse Management System (EWM/SAP). salary: $24 - $26 per hour

Responsibilities

• Workload Management: Work closely with the Operations Supervisor to distribute floor workloads evenly and manage EWM/SAP operations efficiently.
• Resource Optimization: Monitor forecasted inbound and outbound workloads in EWM/SAP to optimize facility and transportation resource utilization.
• Issue Resolution: Partner with the inventory team and on-site staff to quickly troubleshoot and resolve daily order discrepancies.
• Customer Interaction: Communicate order updates, changes, and operational status directly with the customer.
• Reporting & Tracking: Maintain key Excel spreadsheets and reports to support operational tracking.
• KPI Support: Help drive facility-wide Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to meet or exceed established goals in safety, quality, sanitation, and maintenance.
• Operational Assistance: Provide ongoing support to supervisors, warehouse associates, and cross-functional teams to complete daily goals.
