Intervention Specialist

Overview We are looking for a talented Intervention Specialist for the school year. Responsibilities Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) to support students with disabilities. Provide differentiated instruction in one-on-one, small group, and inclusive classroom settings. Adapt lesson plans, curriculum, and instructional strategies to meet diverse learning needs. Assess and monitor student progress using data-driven decision-making. Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and support staff to ensure student success. Participate in IEP meetings, student evaluations, and parent-teacher conferences. Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with Ohio Department of Education (ODE) and IDEA regulations. Implement behavioral intervention plans (BIPs) and classroom management strategies to promote student engagement. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Special Education from an accredited program. Ohio Department of Education (ODE) Intervention Specialist License (Mild/Moderate or Moderate/Intensive). Experience with IEP development and implementation.
