Senior Accounting Manager

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client that is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Level Accounting Manager to join their team in the Austin, TX area.The Senior Accounting Manager will be responsible for:

• Owning the monthly and annual close process, including preparation and review of journal entries, account reconciliations, and consolidated financial statements across multiple entities and business units
• Overseeing accounts payable and accounts receivable operations, including vendor payments, customer invoicing collections, and cash application, ensuring accuracy and timeliness across entities
• Managing and mentoring a team of staff accountants, reviewing their work and developing their technical skills
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc financial analysis for leadership as needed

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA license (active or eligible) required
• 6+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong technical GAAP knowledge and demonstrated experience managing a full-cycle monthly close

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.


We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
