Job Summary Created in 2025, this Fellowship provides foundational training to prepare APPs for a career in critical and acute care medicine. Fellows participate in a year‑long program with ample autonomy while caring for medically complex and critically ill patients. The program includes a diverse realm of clinical rotations, a robust didactic curriculum and opportunities to learn from skilled APPs, physicians, clinical pharmacists, nurses and other support staff. Responsibilities Clinical Curriculum includes rotations in: Medical ICU Cardiothoracic Critical Care Neurocritical Care Anesthesia Interventional Pulmonology Hematology/Oncology Nephrology Palliative Care Infectious Disease Monthly Critical Care APP Fellowship core lecture series Monthly HICU / MICU APP group education meeting Monthly HICU / MICU APP group journal club 1 week “hospital Medicine boot camp” (Hospital Medicine APC fellowship) Procedural and skills‑based workshops (assigned) Weekly Physician Fellows conference, Weekly Pulmonary Grand Rounds, Daily informal MICU teaching This position is patient‑sensitive and must fulfill all associated requirements. All patient‑sensitive employees must be immunized according to CDC standards and hospital policy, with possible exemptions for documented medical contraindications or religious beliefs.
