About This Role Adventist Healthcare is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for the Intensive Care Unit. Highlights Pay: $37.00 - $55.00 Location: Fort Washington, MD Facility: Fort Washington Medical Center Department/Unit: Intensive Care Unit Schedule: Full-time, Night shift What You’ll Do Educate patients and families through the continuum of care. Serve as role models to Level I nurses. Demonstrate professionalism and adhere to ANA standards of practice. Use equipment and technology correctly and delegate non-nursing duties. Develop a plan of care according to patient population. Identify impending changes in patient condition and initiate corrective action. Mentor students, colleagues, and team members in patient-centered care. Conduct purposeful rounding from patient and family perspective. Conduct efficient literature searches and apply findings to practice. Identify opportunities for improvement in clinical care and participate in change of practice. Requirements Education Graduate of an accredited nursing program. Experience Minimum 1 year of RN experience required. Licenses & Certifications Current Maryland State nursing license. Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. ACLS, PALS, NRP as required by specialty area. Benefits Work-life balance through nonrotating shifts.
