Join our healthcare partner in Springfield, VT, where you'll be an integral part of a team that values expertise and compassion. This role requires you to bring your charge nurse experience and proficiency in handling insulin, emolol, and sodium drips. You'll be working in a 25-bed unit, providing care with a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio, and occasionally stepping into a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) role. Your adaptability and willingness to float within your scope of practice will be key to your success. Key Responsibilities and Requirements:
- Provide exceptional patient care in a Telemetry unit
- Perform charge nurse duties as required
- Manage insulin, emolol, and sodium drips effectively
- Need 2 years experience in setting
- Minimum 3 months previous travel experience
- Progressive Care Unit/PCU experience strongly required
- ICU experience strongly preferred
- Active Vermont RN License or Compact License
- Active American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications
- Willingness to float to any inpatient unit within scope of practice
- Must have own vehicle for transportation
