Job Overview We are seeking a Healthcare IT Consultant to guide healthcare organizations in adopting, implementing, and optimizing digital health technologies. In this role, you will act as a strategic advisor and technical consultant, helping healthcare clients design, evaluate, and implement healthcare IT solutions such as EHR systems, SaaS platforms, patient portals, and AI-driven healthcare tools. You will bridge the gap between healthcare operations and technology, ensuring that digital transformation initiatives are aligned with clinical workflows, regulatory requirements, and business goals. Key Responsibilities Healthcare IT Strategy & Consulting Advise healthcare organizations on digital transformation strategies. Evaluate existing healthcare systems and recommend improvements. Design technology roadmaps for SaaS, EHR, and digital health adoption. Support decision-making for healthcare IT investments. System Implementation & Integration Guide implementation of healthcare SaaS platforms and digital solutions. Support EHR/EMR integration planning and execution. Advise on system architecture, interoperability, and data flow design. Collaborate with engineering teams on technical delivery. Clinical & Operational Workflow Optimization Analyze clinical workflows and identify inefficiencies. Recommend technology-driven improvements for patient care and operations. Align healthcare systems with real-world clinical requirements. Improve adoption of digital health tools in healthcare environments. Client & Stakeholder Engagement Work closely with healthcare executives, administrators, and clinical leaders. Translate technical solutions into clear business and clinical value. Conduct workshops, requirements gathering, and solution presentations. Support long-term client success and system optimization. Healthcare Technology Areas You Will Work With Consult on architecture and delivery patterns for clinical portals and dashboards. EHR/EMR systems Formulate data flow schemas connecting enterprise clinical charts with our platforms. Design integration schedules that sync appointment records, billing data, and patient reports. Map operational efficiency metrics for clinic lead flows and scheduling triggers. Advise on WebRTC standards, scheduler interfaces, and direct API prescriptions integrations. AI healthcare solutions Support health organizations adopting AI intake models, conversational workflows, and NLP briefs. Core Technical Requirements Healthcare IT & Advisory Experience Required EHR/EMR Systems implementation Required Clinical Data Flow & Interoperability Required SaaS Platforms & Cloud Infrastructures Highly Valued HL7, FHIR, & CCDA Standards Highly Valued Regulatory Compliance (HIPAA, SOC2) Preferred Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Informatics, IS, CS, Business, or related field. Experience in healthcare IT consulting, implementation, or advisory roles. Strong understanding of healthcare systems and clinical workflows. Excellent communication, solution presentation, and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience in US healthcare consulting environments or digital startups. Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and healthcare regulations. Knowledge of HL7, FHIR, or healthcare interoperability schemas. Exposure to enterprise healthcare IT transformation projects.
