IP Transport Engineer

Atriano is seeking a seasoned Senior Embedded Software Engineer to lead embedded software initiatives for next-generation 5G radio units (RU). This role is ideal for a proactive engineer who thrives in startup environments and enjoys working across software, hardware, and systems teams. You will help architect and deliver embedded solutions while shaping the growth of the embedded software function. Requirements B.S. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience; 5–10 years of hands-on embedded software development experience; Expertise in C and C++ with solid understanding of real-time systems and low-level programming; Proficient in Linux system development and debugging Key Responsibilities Design and implement robust embedded software systems in C and C++ Develop ORAN and M-plane software modules for radio platforms Build and maintain Linux user space and kernel drivers (C/Rust) Drive end-to-end software lifecycle: requirements, architecture, implementation, testing, and documentation Enhance system robustness with improved regression and validation frameworks Support automation of CI/CD pipelines and release processes Conduct design/code reviews and ensure high-quality delivery Provide hands-on support for board bring-up and hardware-software integration Collaborate with hardware teams during test validation and field deployments Represent embedded software in cross-functional demos and troubleshooting Resolve embedded-level issues across stack layers Configure verification tools and base station components for system-level testing Handle complex user stories, critical bug fixes, and functionality verification tasks #J-18808-Ljbffr Atriano
