Travel Nurse RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit - $2,307 per week

Prime Time Healthcare Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in South Charleston, West Virginia.

Job Description & Requirements

• Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit
• Discipline: RN
• Duration: 13 weeks
• 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12 hours, days
• Employment Type: Travel

Unit: ICU
- # of Beds: 18 (eventually 27 beds by June/July 2023)
- Ratios: 1 nurse to 2 patients, sometimes 3 patients in the ICU (could be an overflow or PCU downgrade for the 3rd patient)

Preferred certs: PALS & NIHSS, TNCC (effective 10/21/2026 added TNCC Requirement per Tracey Holmes)
- Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Critically ill patients with complex needs and actual or potential life threatening conditions, invasive and non-invasive hemodynamic monitoring, Sepsis, Acute MI, Renal patients, Post vascular procedures; strokes, TIA, Seizures. Lumbar drains, ARDS (ventilator management), CV procedures, titration of critical drips specifically vasopressors/sedation. 

Age population served is adolescent, adult and geriatric.
- Experience: ICU experience, CRRT and IABP, Impella preferred, Two years of critical care experience. travel experience required, No Travel Duos

6:45 am - 7:15 pm or 6:45 pm to 7:15 am Manager makes the schedule. They
will allow block schedule- esp. for night shift
- Weekend Requirement: Every other- Fri-Sat or Sat-Mon
