The ideal candidate will be supporting a secured missile weapon system. This position will require close collaboration with team members of other projects within the organization for security architecture designs as well as external partners and customers.This position requires the selected candidate to work on-site in Northridge; CA on a 9/80 schedule. Telework is not available for this position. Relocation assistance, although not guaranteed, may be available.This position is contingent upon available funding/program award.In this role, the selected candidate will (but not be limited to):Perform integrated logistics support activities and assist as a technical resource from a program’s concept and proposal phases through development, test, production, and post-production support phasesSupport logistics design influence efforts and activities necessary to meet system performance requirementsAnalyze and interpret data (e.g., drawings, manuals, specifications, etc.) to develop logistics dataCreate/update relevant reports such as maintenance task analysis (MTA) or provisioning requirements reportsEvaluate repair-versus-replace strategies to optimize supply chain cost and network efficiency in support of LORA developmentDevelop maintenance concepts/Maintenance Support Plans (MSP) to ensure the most affordable and effective mission readiness solutionPlan/execute activities that sustain the operation and maintenance of systems to ensure mission readinessPerform Human Factors analysis on maintenance and operation activities and end itemsPerform Human Engineering Interaction Demonstration (HEID)Develop/Update Packaging, Handling, Shipping & Transportation (PHS&T) and Demilitarization plansDevelop Illustrated Parts Breakdown (IPB)Develop Maintenance, Operations and Training Manual – Source DataBasic Qualifications for a Sr. Principal Logistics Management Analyst:Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Engineering, or a related field from an accredited university with 8 years of engineering experience or 6 years with Masters, 13 years of relevant experience will be considered in-lieu of a degreeExperience in Logistics Support Analysis (LSA), Reliability, Maintainability or other logistics related disciplineExperience in developing/generating various types of logistics supportability analysisKnowledge of analyzing data/trend analysis or databases for tracking logistics and inventoryFamiliar with military maintenance and sustainment supportU.S. citizen with the ability to obtain a Secret DoD Security Clearance within a reasonable period of time to support program needsPreferred Qualifications:Master’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Engineering, or a related field from an accredited universityFamiliarity with Logistics 12 ElementsExperience in military maintenance and sustainment supportEngineering design background generating new designs, models, and drawingsExperience developing LSA products in accordance with MIL-STD-1388, GEIA-STD-0007 or MIL-PRF-49506 in LSA database tools such as EAGLE or SLICwaveUnderstanding of repair level analysis and life cycle cost modelingPrevious experience using LSA data to develop either technical data, technical publications, Interactive Electronic Technical Manual (IETMs), or training productsExperience with missile systemsPossess active DoD Security Clearance (investigation completed within last 5 years)Primary Level Salary Range: $106,800.00 - $160,200.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
