Warehouse Operations Supervisor

Location: Seaford, DE
Job Type: Full-Time | Onsite

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Operations Supervisor to manage daily warehouse operations, lead a warehouse team, improve processes, and support warehouse setup and system implementation. This role requires a hands-on leader who can manage people while actively participating in warehouse activities.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, shipping, inventory, picking, packing, and material handling.
Supervise, train, and develop warehouse employees.
Support warehouse setup, layout optimization, racking, and workflow improvements.
Implement and improve WMS, ERP, barcode scanning, and inventory control systems .
Manage inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and system transactions.
Monitor warehouse KPIs, productivity, and operational performance.
Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, EPA, HazCom, and safety regulations.
Operate and manage warehouse equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks.
Support process improvement projects and warehouse expansion initiatives.

Required Qualifications

5+ years of warehouse, distribution, or logistics experience.
3+ years of warehouse supervisor/team leadership experience.
Experience with WMS and ERP systems .
Manufacturing, industrial, or chemical warehouse experience preferred.
Knowledge of inventory management, shipping/receiving, and logistics operations.
Experience with forklifts, material handling equipment, and warehouse safety procedures.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Background

Warehouse startup or implementation experience.
Experience with barcode/QR code inventory systems.
Knowledge of OSHA, DOT, EPA, and hazardous material handling requirements.
