Travel Physical Therapist, Inpatient Rehabilitation - $1,705 per week

Job Overview American Traveler is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist with 2+ years of experience for a 12‑week travel assignment in an acute care physical therapy unit in Aventura, FL. Assignment Overview Location: Aventura, FL (467‑bed acute care hospital with a 26‑bed Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility) Shift: Day shift 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (alternate schedules 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM or 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM) Shift length: 12 hours, 3 times per week Hours: 36 hours per week (1×12 hrs × 3 days) Start Date: May 18 2026 Duration: 12 weeks Openings: 1 Responsibilities Provide PT care in an acute care setting with a 1:1 patient ratio. Conduct scheduled treatments (≈1.5 hours each) and attend team conferences. Utilize equipment including treadmills, car simulators, RT300, Bioness systems, and BITS. Document patient progress in Meditech. Cover rotating weekends. Qualifications Minimum 2 years of recent PT experience with active clinical work within the past 6 months. Active Florida PT license. Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted). Two professional references for Florida‑based candidates. US SSN and DOB for consideration. Residence more than 50 miles from the facility (no local candidates). No gaps in work history of ≥90 days within the past 12 months. Additional Information IRF or SNF experience preferred. Unit staffed by approximately 40 PT professionals. Light gray scrubs required. Pay & Benefits Pay package based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation).
