Rome Health is seeking a  Registered Dietitian to join our dedicated Food and Nutrition team. We are looking for a compassionate, knowledgeable professional who is committed to providing exceptional nutritional care and education to our patients.

Responsibilities

• Understand and perform diet office procedures.
• Assess patients' nutritional needs and develop appropriate nutrition care plans.
• Provide individualized nutrition counseling and education to patients and their families.
• Accurately document nutrition assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team.
• Apply dietetic principles and evidence-based practices to support patient care.
• Recommend and implement appropriate modified diets and dietary restrictions based on patients' medical conditions.
• Address the nutritional needs of patients with a wide variety of acute and chronic health conditions.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field.

Licensure/Certification

• Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential required.
• Certified Dietitian/Nutritionist (CDN) in New York State preferred.
