Pharmacy ManagerPosition Summary

We are seeking an experienced Pharmacy Manager to oversee daily pharmacy operations, lead pharmacy staff, and support the delivery of high-quality patient care. This role is responsible for managing workflow efficiency, ensuring regulatory compliance, and collaborating with providers and healthcare teams to drive positive patient outcomes. The Pharmacy Manager will work closely with organizational leadership to support operational goals and strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Leadership

• Manage day-to-day pharmacy operations and workflow processes.
• Supervise, coach, and develop pharmacy staff to ensure a productive and collaborative work environment.
• Partner with physicians, providers, and interdisciplinary care teams to support patient care initiatives.
• Monitor operational performance and identify opportunities for process improvement.

Clinical & Patient Care

• Support medication management programs and pharmacy services that enhance patient outcomes.
• Promote a patient-centered approach while ensuring safe and effective medication use.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to address medication-related issues and improve quality of care.

Compliance & Quality Assurance

• Ensure compliance with all Florida Board of Pharmacy regulations, organizational policies, and applicable healthcare standards.
• Maintain readiness for audits, inspections, and accreditation reviews.
• Oversee regulatory compliance initiatives.
• Implement and monitor quality assurance programs and best practices.

Strategic Support

• Collaborate with the Director of Pharmacy and leadership team to achieve departmental and organizational objectives.
• Assist with planning, implementation, and execution of strategic initiatives.
• Track key performance indicators and recommend improvements to enhance operational effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Active Florida Pharmacist license in good standing.
• Bachelor's or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited pharmacy program.
• 3+ years of pharmacy leadership, supervisory, or management experience.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations, regulatory requirements, and medication management practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to build relationships across clinical, operational, and executive teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing pharmacy operations within a healthcare, managed care, specialty pharmacy, or ambulatory care setting.
• Demonstrated success leading teams and driving operational improvements.
• Experience with quality assurance, compliance, and performance management initiatives.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of New Port Richey, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $130000.00 - $150000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
