AdventHealth Medical Group is seeking a dynamic andenergetic board-certified GeneralSurgeon with 3-5 years experience to join our growing community at AdventHealth Riverview. This $250 million facility also includes a 100,000 square foot, four-story Medical Office Building that provides community members convenient access to the expert care they need. This is a bread and butter position (no bariatrics, no colorectal) with 1 in 4 call as part of a collegial, well-established practice.

AHMG, a sister organization of AdventHealth, employs over 900 physicians in 60+ specialties across our west Florida division areas. This aligned model and practice management experience provides the opportunity for the physicians to focus on the clinical aspects of medicine.

Practice Description

The West Florida Division Medical Group continues to grow rapidly to meet the needs of the communities we serve. Over the last six years, we've nearly tripled in size with a projection to grow to 900 providers by the end of 2026. With the addition of AdventHealth Port Charlotte, we span a broad geography in eight counties, with practices in Charlotte, Hardee, Highlands, Hillsborough, Marion, Pasco, Pinellas and Polk counties as well as five Care Pavilions. Our providers represent 40 specialties, and we care for one million patients annually. Using leading edge technology, innovation, and compassion, we deliver our brand of whole-person care.
