Our team ensures these systems remain secure, resilient, and modern to meet evolving mission needs for the decade ahead.As an Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE), you will help design and implement security capabilities that protect complex software systems across the program. You will ensure proper application of security controls, including inherited controls from framework providers, and support the integration of cybersecurity requirements into system architectures. In this role, you will partner closely with engineering teams to maintain compliance, strengthen system defenses, and advance mission assurance.What you’ll do:Apply cybersecurity engineering practices to define, implement, and validate security controls within software‑based systems.Evaluate and document control inheritance from framework providers and ensure proper integration into program security requirements.Support system architecture activities by identifying security risks, recommending mitigations, and ensuring alignment with applicable standards.Conduct analysis of security requirements, system configurations, and technical documentation to ensure compliance with program and regulatory guidelines.Collaborate with cross‑functional engineering teams to support secure design, continuous monitoring activities, and security‑relevant technical decisions.QualificationsRequired Qualifications:Associates degree and 10+ years of experience in a Systems Engineering related field; OR 8+ years of experience with a BS/BA in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; OR 6+ years with MS/MA; OR 3+ years with PhD. Four (4) years of additional work experience may be considered in lieu of a bachelor’s degreeThis position requires the candidate possess a minimum of Secret clearance with ability to upgrade to TS/SCI. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
