A Culture of Support – Join a team that understands the importance of a workplace built on integrity, compassion, and collaboration.Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesProvide individual therapy, group therapy, case management, crisis intervention that addresses the goals established on the treatment plan.Document services provided in a weekly note, individual note, and/or information note. Documentation will be completed according to NBH policies and procedures and standards established by governing bodies.Document case activity notes and important information.Develop comprehensive treatment plans that meet the individual needs of the client. Treatment plans will be completed in accordance with NBH policies and procedures and standards established by governing bodies.Complete and document assessments in accordance with NBH policies and procedures and standards established by governing bodies.Participate in weekly case staffing meetings and supervision meetings.Provide court, Department of Corrections, and other referral sources with progress reports as requested.Work cooperatively with outside agencies.Discharge duties in accordance with contracts, licensure standards, and NBH policies and procedures.Exhibits knowledge of core competencies in relation to working with co-occurring disorders through continuing education and implementing skills into all aspects of treatment.Complete other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) Required Skills and Experience:Must be licensed by the Board of Behavioral Health and Therapy as a Licensed Alcohol and Drug CounselorBachelor degreeMust have 1 or more years providing chemical dependency counseling (supervised internship applies)Comprehensive understanding of all MN Statutes related to providing services for the population NBHN servesCPR Certification or attain within 30 daysMust have 2 years of freedom from chemical use problemsMust pass a State of Minnesota Background CheckMust possess a current Minnesota Driver's License with acceptable driving recordAbility to use Microsoft Office programs and other computer skillsAdditional Skills and Experience: (Preferred or helpful)Familiar with medication for opioid use disorder ModelMotivational Interviewing ApproachCognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)Familiar with Procentive, Electronic Health Record SystemBenefits:Medical InsuranceDentalVisionHSADependent Care401k & Company matchShort and long term disabilityEAPPaid holidaysPaid Time offSupportive and dedicated work environment
