Responsibilities:

• Interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to determine the bending sequence.
• Adjust machine settings, including speed, angle, and pressure, to achieve accurate bends.
• Set up and prepare press brake machines for production runs, including selecting appropriate tooling and materials.
• Monitor the product process, making necessary adjustments to maintain quality and accuracy.
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following safety procedures and regulations.
• Keep accurate records of production data and work performed.
• Adhere to quality control standards and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
• Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers and protractors to verify dimensions.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of experience setting up/running a brake press.
• Proficient in blueprint reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
• Previous experience operating press brake machines or similar equipment preferred.
• Familiarity with precision measuring instruments such as calipers and protractors.
• Ability to program and adjust CNC controls for accurate bending and forming.
• Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication techniques and processes.
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
• Strong attention to detail and quality control.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
