Obstetric Hospitalists Annapolis, MD & Lanham, MD

Luminis Health is seeking Obstetrics Hospitalist Physicians to join our OB/GYN group of hospitalists, community based physicians, and midwives working together to provide team based care to our patients.

Position Overview:

• Provide 24/7 in-house labor and delivery coverage, managing all risk levels of pregnancies-including low, moderate, and high-risk pregnancies, as well as obstetric emergencies and gynecological consults.
• Perform and assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including nurses and midwives, to ensure optimal maternal and fetal outcomes.
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in line with TeamBirth philosophy.
• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to system-based healthcare initiatives.

Details & Requirements:

• Schedule: 24-hour non-consecutive shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 AM)
• Practice setting: Inpatient Obstetric hospitalist role
• Case types: Labor & delivery, emergency gynecological surgeries, inpatient consults
• Required certifications: Board Certification in Obstetrics & Gynecology
• Licensure: Active Maryland medical license
• EMR system: Epic
