Corporate Banking Entry Level

Our banking client is seeking a motivated recent graduate to join its Corporate Banking Graduate Program, supporting relationship management, credit processes, client coverage, and business development while gaining broad exposure to corporate banking operations. Position Summary: This graduate program is designed for recent university graduates and provides structured training, mentorship, and hands‑on experience to build a successful career in corporate banking. Participants will support senior bankers and relationship managers in managing corporate client relationships while gaining exposure to credit analysis, financial products, and client coverage. The role focuses on supporting day‑to‑day relationship management activities, streamlining operational processes, and assisting with credit, reporting, and business development initiatives. Graduates will develop a strong understanding of corporate banking, financial markets, and industry trends through on‑the‑job learning and collaboration across multiple business areas. Key Responsibilities Support relationship managers in maintaining and developing corporate client relationships. Assist with client onboarding, account opening, and ongoing account maintenance. Research companies, industries, and market trends to prepare presentations and briefing materials. Prepare meeting materials and summarize discussions following client interactions. Support credit‑related processes, including gathering information, preparing documentation, and coordinating internal approvals. Collaborate with product specialists to develop client proposals and market analyses. Develop industry knowledge through research, internal training, and exposure to client activities. Assist in business planning, portfolio monitoring, and performance reporting. Coordinate with internal stakeholders to facilitate timely decision‑making and execution of transactions. Support the preparation and review of legal and compliance documentation as needed. Help prepare internal reporting and committee materials. Ensure adherence to internal policies, regulatory requirements, and Know Your Customer (KYC) procedures. Provide additional operational and administrative support as required. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification, ideally obtained within the past 12 months. Strong motivation, initiative, and ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Basic understanding of corporate banking, financial products, or credit analysis. Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
