Fitness Trainer

Title: Fitness Trainer Department: Operations Reports to: Club Manager FLSA: Non-Exempt We are a rapidly growing company dedicated to helping people live healthier lives. Responsibilities Lead the Planet Fitness group fitness program View email address on click.appcast.io and design simple workout programs. Provide outstanding customer service, encouraging members to achieve their fitness goals. Ensure equipment is maintained and perform minor repairs. Maintain a clean and welcoming club environment. Assist the front‑desk team with member welcome, check‑in, tours, and enrollment. Recruit new and current members to participate in fitness classes. Demonstrate proper use of fitness equipment and safety practices. Model a positive, energetic attitude and invite members to share in their success. Schedule Variable shifts covering all hours of operation, including weekends and holidays. Flexible scheduling to accommodate club needs and personal commitments. Qualifications Minimum age of 18 (birthdate confirmation). Passion for helping others and promoting a judgment‑free environment. Nationally certified training certification. Knowledge of fitness equipment and ability to demonstrate use. Physical ability to stand, walk, stoop, lift up to 50 lbs, reach, climb, balance, kneel, and handle chemicals. Reliability and punctuality; understanding that members rely on consistent service. English language proficiency (speaking, understanding, reading, writing). Bilingual Spanish is a plus.
