GRILL COOK (PART TIME)

Job Summary We are hiring immediately for part‑time GRILL COOK positions at Henry Ford Providence Hospital, 16001 West 9 Mile Road, Southfield, MI 48075. This role requires prior cooking experience and involves preparing food and serving customers at the grill station. Location & Schedule Location: Henry Ford Providence Hospital, Southfield, MI Schedule: Part‑time, Monday through Friday (hours may vary). Weekends and holidays required. More details will be provided during the interview. Compensation Pay Range: $15.00 to $16.00 per hour. Responsibilities Takes orders from customers and prepares items requiring short preparation. Completes orders from steam tables and serves customers at multiple stations. Serves customers efficiently and friendly, following established service steps and meeting standards. Ensures food is at the correct temperature and is attractive and tasty. Tastes all prepared food items. Uses established ticket‑collection procedures during service and maintains records from area worked. Follows approved recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures, and portion control. Carries pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from workstations, stoves, and refrigerators per safety standards. Stores foods in designated areas following standard wrapping, dating, food safety, and rotation procedures. Cleans, sanitizes, and maintains all assigned work areas, equipment, and utensils to meet sanitation standards. Resolves customer concerns and reports relevant information to supervisor. Attends in‑service and safety meetings. Maintains good working relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators, and managers. Performs job safely while maintaining a clean, safe work environment. Performs other duties as assigned.
