What You'll Do

Support oversight of daily nursing department operations within skilled nursing services Lead and support nursing staff in delivering compassionate, evidence-based care Assist with staff coaching, mentoring, education, and performance management Monitor clinical quality indicators and support continuous improvement initiatives Help ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations and survey readiness Oversee or support specialty programs such as Infection Control, Wound Care, Restorative Nursing, Psychotropics, and Fall Prevention Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic resident care planning Assist with staffing coordination and nursing leadership coverage as needed Support implementation of operational goals and department initiatives Promote a positive culture focused on accountability, teamwork, and resident outcomes

Schedule: Full-time, exempt position Hours may vary based on operational and leadership coverage needs

Required Qualifications

Current Illinois RN license required Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred or equivalent experience Minimum of 4 years of nursing leadership experience within long-term care or skilled nursing Previous experience as an ADON or DON strongly preferred Strong leadership, communication, and critical thinking skills Experience with Electronic Health Records and Microsoft Office Suite
