Anesthesiology Opportunity in Hickory, NC Providence Anesthesiology Associates (PAA) seeks a board certified/board eligible physician to join their six-physician group in Hickory, NC. Ideally, the position is for a partner, but an employee position will also be considered. The group is well established and has an excellent relationship with hospital administration, physician staff, and CRNAs.A high-performing, independent, not-for-profit hospital is the sole location, although the hospital plans to open a surgery center in the near future.Based in Charlotte, North Carolina, PAA is an independent practice comprised of over 140 anesthesiologists. Founded in 1991, PAA provides anesthesia and perioperative care at numerous healthcare facilities across the state, serving more than 232,000 patients annually. Position Requirements \n
• Proficiency in regional ultrasound-guided blocks
\n
• Ability to handle a wide variety of cases including:
- General - Pediatrics - Bariatric - Gynecology - Orthopedics - Spine - ENT - Urology - Vascular - Non-OR cases\n
• Very rare thoracic and trauma cases
\n
• No cardiac, neurosurgery, or complex pediatric cases
\n
• High acuity and very busy practice, including Labor & Delivery
