Pay Rate: $55-$65/Hour

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of software testing experience working closely with business stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and project delivery frameworks.
• Experience within the financial services or banking industry.
• Strong experience with testing processes across both Waterfall and Agile environments.
• Experience developing and executing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) strategies, test plans, and test cases.
• Understanding of test automation frameworks and testing best practices.
• Experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as ALM and JIRA.
• Ability to coordinate testing activities across multiple business users and project stakeholders.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Experience leading UAT efforts for large, complex banking or financial services projects.
• Experience creating reports, dashboards, and UAT exit documentation.
• Experience coordinating or overseeing the work of other UAT Analysts and Testers.

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a UAT Lead to support a large banking client in Naperville, IL. This is a hybrid position requiring three days onsite per week and will support initiatives within the Personal & Business Banking line of business.

The UAT Lead will be responsible for developing and leading User Acceptance Testing strategies across large and complex projects, ensuring new products, processes, programs, and technical solutions meet established business requirements before production release. This individual will work closely with business stakeholders, project teams, and testing resources to identify and resolve issues, reduce production risk, and support successful project delivery.

Key responsibilities include:

• Develop and manage comprehensive UAT strategies, test plans, test cases, execution schedules, and exit reports.
• Review test cases to ensure appropriate requirements coverage and traceability.
• Coordinate UAT execution across project teams and business users, including establishing schedules, prioritizing testing activities, monitoring progress, and escalating risks or issues.
• Identify, document, and track defects while facilitating defect review meetings and validating resolutions.
• Partner with internal and external stakeholders to provide business context throughout the design, development, and implementation of UAT solutions.
• Recommend appropriate UAT strategies, approaches, and levels of testing rigor based on enterprise guidelines and industry best practices.
• Lead UAT activities across multiple large and complex projects.
• Coordinate the work of UAT Testers and provide guidance and feedback on test plans and testing activities.
• Support testing efforts involving large groups of business users, including projects with 25+ testers.
• Develop regular and ad hoc reports, dashboards, and testing documentation.
• Support UAT intake and prioritization based on project timelines, complexity, and team workload.
